Latest Ways to Help
If you already attended the Ash Out training then you can begin serving in that way. However, if you were not able to attend either of the trainings but would still like to get involved and support in other ways please check the list below:
Current Needs:
- Transportation for large amounts of water to spray ash/debris
For example: a truck with a water container in the back (or similar capability). - A location to fill the large water tanks mentioned in #1.
- Mini excavators to move large debris.
- Sifters (to be built) for ash

Coordinate with with the Command Center: 719-755-7224 - Other volunteer opportunities for people who cannot do Ash Out
These roles do not require Ash Out training. Examples include:- Helping cook for volunteers
- Running the laundry trailer
- Couriers to transport materials between locations
- Shopping for supplies/food or picking up orders
- Office assistance type work
- Trailer support (a person stays on the trailer to pass out equipment, organize, and ensure tools are returned to the correct place)

Current trained Ash Out Volunteers: Volunteers who have been trained and have completed CBDR forms(https://form.jotform.com/240665492320151) should call the Command Center to report when they can volunteer forAsh Out and whether they have any special skills or equipment that would be helpful. Command Center will then call them when teams are ready to go in.
