We are a new Christian church in Pueblo with the dream of seeing this amazing city empowered by the Gospel of Jesus!
Bessemer Buckets
Bessemer Buckets is a fun basketball camp for kids to get out of the house this summer and have fun playing basketball and making new friends! We designed this camp to be open to any and all skill levels, although we have a primary focus on having fun and teaching basketball basics.

Our church gathers every Sunday morning to focus our attention on God, encourage one another, and pray for Pueblo! When you attend Lake Avenue Community Church you can expect friendly faces, real-life teaching from the Bible and a community of people deeply invested in supporting our city and making a lifelong impact in the lives of everyone we meet. Because we are still growing as a new church in Pueblo, there’s lots of opportunities to serve and get connected at Lake Avenue!
We gather for Sunday Service at 10:00 AM. Currently we have Children’s Church for Toddlers through 3rd grade as well.

Many mission teams will ask us, “what kind of help do you need?” This is a great question, but in a city, like Pueblo, filled with ministry opportunity at every corner we believe that with the right mission team we can adapt to almost any kind of opportunity. We have done service projects, basketball camps, partnered with non-profits around the city. We dream about a day when everyone knows the goodness of God and his abundant love and purpose for their lives.
